Rates
All rates apply to adult able-bodied (non-handicapped) dogs. For pets with disabilities or special needs, please see appropriate section below.
DayCare
Your dog can be dropped off or picked up from Doggie Adventure anytime between the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Rates include play with humans & canines, unlimited access to the fenced yard, any requested feedings and/or snacks and a 20 minute walk through the 15 acres of woods on the Doggie Adventure property. On Monday nights Daycare will be open for pickup until 9:00 PM at no additional charge, because Monday night is "Doggie Dinner Party Night." Doggie guests will have humans to feed them tasty treats from the table – chicken, meatloaf, burgers, etc. It is a fun doggie adventure, and we encourage you to let your dog participate in the festivities. Think of Monday nights as an ideal (and guilt-free) time for you to work late, go out to dinner with friends, run errands, etc., while your dog is enjoying a dinner party at no additional cost for you.
DayCare Rates: Single dog - $35/day (12 hour period from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM); each additional dog from the same household - $32/day. Each additional hour before 7:00 AM or after 7:00 PM will be charged at the rate of $10/hour (except Monday nights, when additional charges begin to accrue after 9:00 PM).
SleepOvers
In addition to all of the festivities included in DayCare (see above), SleepOvers also include snuggling in for a cozy evening of petting, snacking & TV watching. On Monday nights SleepOvers will be open for pickup until 9:00 PM at no additional charge, because Monday night is "Doggie Dinner Party Night" (see details in DayCare above).
SleepOver Rates: Each day (up to 24-hour period) is $55 for a single dog; each additional dog from the same household is $50/day. If you are unable to pick up your dog by 7:00 PM on the day of your scheduled pick-up, please call to inform us of the additional time needed; Standard prorated charges will continue to accrue until your dog is picked up between the hours of 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (except for Mondays, when pickup time is extended until 9:00 PM).
Extras
Short 20 minute walks on the "Doggie Adventure" 15 acre property are included in the basic rates above. If you choose to add on a longer walk or hike (total hiking trip is approximately 1 hour) through the mountain trails or through Bear Mountain State Park, please add an additional $15 per dog per hike. These services require transportation expenses as well as additional adult dog walkers and sitters. Please see our page on Walks/Hikes/Swims for a full description of these optional services.
One-hour pool swims are an additional $25 per dog per swim. This rate includes pool-rental fees, transportation expenses and additional doggie caretakers/lifeguards. Please see the page on Walks/Hikes/Swims for a detailed description of this adventure.
Handicapped Dogs
The DayCare rate for handicapped dogs is $45 per dog. The SleepOver rate for handicapped dogs is $65. "Carriage walks" for disabled pets (see page on Handicapped Dogs) are included on the paved portion of the driveway at Doggie Adventure. A carriage walk in the park is an additional $30 per 1-hour walk. Swimming with life preserver and human assistant is an additional $50 per 1-hour swims.
DayCare and SleepOver Rates for Handicapped dogs also apply to diabetic dogs requiring daily administration of insulin, and other dogs having extensive medical needs.
